New opportunities for emerging authors
"New opportunities for emerging authors”with
Silke Pillinger (director, WEYA - World Event Young Artists),
Lea Iandiorio (director, Scuola Holden),
Javier Sagarna (president, EACWP – European Association of Creative Writing Programmes), moderated by
Emiliano Paoletti (general secretary, BJCEM). The meeting is addressed to young writers, authors, filmmakers and artists in general who are interested in discover some new international opportunities from bjcem's partners.
It will be presented the
1st WEYA, that will be the closing event of the Cultural Olympiad 2012 and will be held in september 2012 in Nottingham (UK) and the newborn
EACWP network, with 9 partners from Europe and represented in Italy by Scuola Holden. (N.B. English speaking meeting).
We have sent an invitation to all our artists and guests to attend the event.
The event is scheduled on 5.30pm at the Reading room (it’s an open space on the roof of the Red Auditorium, you will see it and don’t worry it’s a cover set).
Unfortunately there is no possibility to display images, project slides or having internet connection, but the venue is very nice and informal. So I suggest you to bring some printed materials and in general to be very pragmatical during your interventions, the audience will mainly be young artists interested in getting opportunities.
We can see each other there around 5pm in order to have time to introduce ourselves and talk a little bit.
In case you need any help, please contact Emiliano Paoletti on the mobile phone (
