A year as Storytellers
A special lesson with a great storyteller

It’s almost Christmas and we can take stock of this 2011 that is ending.

In the first months of the year, in May, we hosted the EACWP meeting and saw the students of the 2009/2011 class of the Biennial course in Writing and Storytelling gain their diplomas, as well as the first edition of the Fondamenta training course.

After summer we started the new editions of the Biennial course and of Fondamenta, a course for professionals that want to learn Storytelling techniques. The appointment was the 8th October, with a special lesson by the Scottish writer Ali Smith. It was also transmitted in streaming live, so that the people who couldn’t physically be here were able to attend such a special event.

We then conceived of a workshop for storytellers from all over Europe: My Migrant Story.
It will be held in May, in English: for more information, visit this page.

On the 26th and 27th November, in Bologna, Esor-dire was held. It is one of the most important events for literary scouting in Italy: both the Author’s trials and the Literary Tourney were a public success. Both of these events were also transmitted live in streaming with great success.

The new book in the Save the Story series was released on the 1st December: King Lear, rewritten by Melania G. Mazzucco.

It has been an intense series of months and 2012 also looks to be a year rich in courses, workshops, cultural propositions and initiatives.
